Letter R Bling
If you are able to order or buy some sticky gem stones, I highly recommend it. If not, your learner can draw, paint, use glitter or make their own as they trace the letter R. This is a tactile way to help with letter practice and you can reinforce their understanding about gems.

Sand Trace R
Sedimentary rocks are made from sediment like sand or dirt. You can have your learner trace the letter R into sand. This activity makes for lots of fun. You can also pour sand over the letter R. Have your learner put glue or double-sided tape down over the R and pour the sand over it. This can be especially fun with colored sand.

Rocking Letter R
Find small rocks outside, at your local craft store, or online and glue them to the letter R. You can also use bigger rocks and make the letter R out of them. If you can't find any real rocks, you can cut out the rocks provided and glue them onto the R.
